Careers : Software / Web Applications Developer




The Software / Web Application Developer will develop and enhance rich-client and web-based business applications, utilizing VB .NET, SQL, ASP.NET, and JavaScript. The candidate will be active in all phases of the application development lifecycle.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conceptualize, design, and produce logical object-based code
  • Produce technical documents as appropriate
  • May coordinate and lead the work of others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment
  • Specifies the features of physical design
  • Estimates time and effort to complete each feature
  • Builds or supervises building of features
  • Prepares product for deployment
  • Develops, maintains, and executes the project master plan and schedule
  • Maintains the project schedule and reports project status
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Visual Basic and the Microsoft Development Environment
  • Minimum 1 year experience using XML
  • Must show examples of your work(detail project history)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Experience in developing applications using .NET languages, such as C# .NET or VB .NET, using the Visual Studio environment
  • Strong recent experience developing data-driven applications against SQL Server 2000
  • Ability to complete projects on a timely basis with a minimum of supervision
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to speak to business and technical personnel
